This course provides the fundamental concept of accounting especially for top management, executive level and management team in the organisation. This includes the understanding of the theoretical, practical and instruments that can be used in the preparation, review and presentation of the strategic planning and control using various management accounting tools. In addition, students will be able to implement the process in managing the costs, preparing the budget, performing various types of decision-making, analysing the financial statement, managing the cash flow and evaluating organisational performance to be established by the managers.

This course seeks to expose students to elements and issues about managerial economics. It focuses on related theories, research practices including demand and supply analysis, cost and production theories, market failure, pricing strategies and market structure.
